The varsity squad was com- posed of Joe Ballard, Art Caswell, Paul Dana, Rich Gosseht, and Chris Mullmann. The frosh-soph team was led by Steve Skale, Brian Robertson, and Doug Edi- son. Steve Skale placed second in M.P.L. finals and took a third place at the Terra Nova Invitational. Left: Steve Carter leads the J.V. race at the halfway mark against Burlingame with John Conner a close third.

CHAMPIONS Aragon did it again! M. P. L. champs for the second year in a row! lt was a battle right down to the last few seconds, but under the inspired leadership of Coach Ed Diaz, the team emergedlthe winners. According to Coach Diaz, There was no single player who carried the-team throughout the season. We were fortunate in that we had a good, balanced squad that could come up with the winning combination. There was as much spirit and effort as anyone could ask for. Bob Toschi and Bob Wells led the team in rebounding while Bruce Sivils and Bob Somerby accounted for about forty per cent of the scoring. When asked what the team's chances were for next year, Mr. Diaz said, Right now l am concerned about the tournament, ask me next year, Aragon's jumping-iack forward, Bob Wells, goes up and over his Hillsdale opponent for two points.
