Sendach, I-I. Oberg, J. Richardson. B Team The Don's B team had a lot of swim- mers who had moved up from last year's C team . Returning C lettermen were Bob Allen, freestyle, jim Esten, back- strokeg and Frank Suechting, breast- stroke. Filling out the team were Stan Conales, backstrokeg john Hughes, breaststrokeg Al Barick and jim Akin, butterfly. Two newcomers to this year's squad were Conrad Hamako and Tom Galbraith both freestyle, who bolstered this year's fine squad. ROW ONE, LEFT TO RIGHT: B. Ament, T. Cano, D. Wilrnerotb, S. Smith, T. Mayo, D. Bennett. ROW TWO: B. Harvick, I. Norris, J. Barry-Smith, D. Ah- lert, R. Coker, W. Dickson. ROW THREE: S. Hall, C. Daniels, S. Pearson, V. Turchet, S. Schuster, S. Goldein, B. Teachout. Varsity Aragon's Varsity squad failed to enter the win column last year, having only freshmen and sophomores: however, this year's squad was no pushover. Lloyed Loomis, the Don's super merman, led this year's team. He swam the Individual Medley and the gruelling 400 yard free- style. Also leading the attack was Lance Block who placed 6th in the P L. in the 100 yard butterfly as a sophomore. The Varsity was sparked by john Clow and Don Reeves, freestyle, Rich Radez, breaststrokeg Jerry Richardson and Brad Alden, backstrokeg and Dave Hook in the Individual Medley. ONE, LEFT TO RIGHT: T. C Team Aragon's C's swim team was composed mainly of freshmen with a few returning sophomores. The C team had a good ex- perienced swimmer in freshman Bill Haile. Bill swam all strokes well and will probably end up as' a breaststroker . Returning sophomores were Jim Norris, Don Ahlert, and Rich Coker, freestyle, Charlie Daniels, butterfly. Added to this list was an excellent transfer, Dennis Willmeroth, breaststroke. This year's team showed great potential for the future.

Thus far the record in practice games indicates the team will fare well. Pitchers Steve Tyrell and Greg Woodard, Catcher Rick Wirgler, Basemen jay Heller, Pete Lewis, and Chuck Biederman are among the team members upon whom this year's hopes are based. Great expectations are also entertained for Short Stop Mark Jorgensen and Outfielders Steve Trueblood, Chris Nelson, and Chuck Ross. F L L f ,Y J 65
