Misleading advertising, harming a competitors reputation, are examples ot ottences against Justice. The Business courses at Aquinas attempt to place betore the students. standards ot integrity, honesty and tair play. THE LIBRARY Books, fhe daily bread of the intellect. Just as the body needs food to live and maintain life, so 'foo the mind needs intellectual nourishment in order to subsist. The source of our mental diet at Aquinas is the Library. Books' serve many purposes. Some we read lor factual knowledge, some lor the pictures they paint of real life, others for the answers to prac- tical problems which present them- selves. Another reason for reading was perfectly expressed by Emily Dickenson when she said, There is no frigate like a book to take us worlds away. This reason, often overlooked, is one of the most im- portant purposes of good reading. It is this type which takes us out of ourselves and places us mentally in lands which we otherwise cannot visit, and introduces us to peoples whom we may never know. The Aquinas library is a real and Friendly place, partially because of the fact +ha'r it is manned to some extent by the students themselves. The Library Club has for its primary function the humanizing of the library and making books friends, good read- ing good company. Where can one 'Find better conversationalisis than in good books, where the witliest and wisest meet to converse? Enioying silence and study in the library.
