IN MEMORIAM Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints Psalm CXVI, Verse l5 Just before the year had spent its last breath, and before the bells rang out to usher in the new l952 year, Sister Helen Concepta peace- fully breathed forth her soul into the blessed company of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. Again death was swallowed up in victory, and Aquinas gained an added lustre from her complete and total holocaust and absolute self-surrender . . . Christian education was for her the art of arts and the science of sciences as she strived each day to form Christ in the hearts and minds of her students. We remember her patience, her holy smile, her rigid adherence to duty and detail, her quiet unassuming deportment, her deep humility . . . The tongue of a dying person enforces attention like deep harmony. To charitable bystanders at her death-bed, she whispered, l'll remember you in Heaven for your kindness to me. 10
