' ' J y ■ English The Aquinas Man learns to be expressive in speech and in writing. From the funda- mentals of Grammar to the methods of creative writing, from epic to modern story and drama the reflection of the sameness of conflict, inspiration, dedication and mo- tivation make dead authors come to life as modern and actual. He sees man as terrible in his misery, great in his aspiration and achievement. Living with nobility in thought and expression he can not help but become noble in his ideals and their expression in his daily life. Senior Coffield explains a definition of poetry in Englisfi IV.

Science Chemistry, Biology, Physics are taught at Aquinas to reveal to the students the mys- teries of the world. He listens, reads, studies, performs experiments, becomes accurate and observant in v hat he does. He learns the love of truth and order and delights in the wonders of creation. Later he may de- cide to pursue further explorations in space or the use of atoms for peaceful purpose, but at the moment he is concerned with be- coming a dedicated craftsman and a skilled technician. h Gomez and Moyce observe chemical reaction.
