MOTHER ST. JOHN FONTBONNE Foundress of Sisters of St. Joseph Dedication We, the seniors of Aquinas, are happy to have the op- portunity and privilege to dedicate our Aquinian to our teachers, counselors, guides, and friends—the Sisters of St. Joseph. We students who walked the halls of Mount St. Joseph and Aquinas for the first time little knew then what a realm of adventure lay ahead ... for these Sisters were to open wide the gateway to knowledge. Into each of us they endeavored to instill a love of knowledge, a respect for our own talents and abilities, and at the same time, they charged us to maintain confidence in ourselves and to make no apologies for what we knew! To show our sincere gratitude to the Sisters of St. Joseph we present the following poem to them. Reverend Mother Eucharista. C.S.J. Pres- ent Reverend Mother of Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet Sister Rose de Lima. C.S.J. Georgia Prov- ince Representative Mother M. Eulalia, C.S.J. Georgia Provin- cial of Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet 2

Foreword Throughout the realms of time there have been many who have dedicated their lives to the cause of youth. In honoring St. Thomas Aquinas, the patron of our school, Marie Goretti. St. Therese of the Child Jesus, and Don Bosco we feel that through their inspiration and guidance the senior class of 1960 will attain the ideals set forth by these courageous souls who have attained life everlasting.
