Its association recalls the night we sang it when with shaky step and shakier knees we made that Hrst bow to Aquinas society. The next day we posed under the stately poplars which accented our height and gave us a grown-up feeling and 21 security that we were on the in of Aquinas. It wasn't just a song but a sort of doctrine that followed us through our school life.
