The Administration Building houses li- brariesg the Science Hall houses labora- tories. But our education does not stop in these. For, such an education would be insular. Rather, we are prepared to act and respond to the needs of society. We leave Aquinas liberally educated to follow our professors in dedication to Christian ideals.

However, he soon realizes that out of the chaos of registration day there soon follows an Honors Convocation for citation for high scho- lastic achievement. He also realizes that more important than achievement in life is commit- ment, a commitment that follows upon education.

james Farmer, National Director of CORE, on a brief visit to Grand Rapids, is interviewed by an Aquinas student and photographed by Frank Kolenda. To better acquaint the students with the needs of society, the faculty introduces us to modern leaders. Father Twomey, S. J. of Loyola University in New Orleans, addresses us on the role of religion in solving modem problems. The Honorable Tran van Dinh, former U. S. Ambassador from Vietnam, spoke to a capacity crowd on The Status of the Vietnamese War flower leftj.
