That Aquinas is an integral part of the community is demonstrated by campus participation in current events. A visit by Gerald Ford and Gordon Cooper to the campus heightens interest in the National space program. A demonstration march in sympathy with Negroes in Selma, Ala- bama, isastrongly supported by the whole College. Errol Harvey, detours traffic outside the Fulton Street gates to facili- tate an impromptu campaign speech by Hubert Humphrey.
