Happiness is being alive and happy, especially in Massachusetts. Pep Club 1, 2, 3, 4; Spanish Club 1, 2; F.L.E.A.S. 1, 2, 3; Photography Club 2 Ms. Judith Ann Kerr 22 Flagswamp Road, East Freetown “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.” “Judy” likes exclaiming “Oh Peanut Butter!” and being with Dennis (any connection?) Her pet peeve is an Italian named Steve and looking towards the future is a time consumer. Judy feels that every embarrassing moment is her worst because she’s had a lot. Her favorite place is the seashore and her favorite food is seafood. Her “pet peeve” is a stuck-up person and happiness to her is sharing a successful future with the one you love. Bob’s ambition is to be a journalist or a professional pilot. Happiness is soaring through the sky in an airplane and “to develop good study habits” is his best advice to underclassmen. Paul Horton Lakeside Avenue, Lakeville “Life only comes around once so you have to reach for all the gusto you can.” Paul likes sunny summer days so he can “bea-bop down to the beach” to watch girls while eating Swedish meatballs and Captain Crunch. His childhood idol was Underdog and Paul thinks that the everyday Ufe of a high school student is exciting, so he reminds the underclassmen “to keep the faith,” when he leaves to be successful and rich. Football 1, 2, 3, 4; Track 1, 2, 3, 4; Ski Club 3 Kenneth Jack,son 704 Central Avenue, Lakeville “Dynamite in a small package.” “Kenny’s” favorite place is anywhere but school. (Maybe that’s why he doesn’t like homework!) Wlien he has nothing to do he finds himself driving around and watching girls. “Kenny” likes to relax on warm sunny days listening to Grand Funk. Baseball 1, 3, 4; Choir 1, 2, 3, 4; Football 1; Hockey 4 Mr. Michael James Kelley 40 Morton Road, East Freetown “For courage mounteth with occasion.” “Mike’s” ambition in life is to get rich and his favorite place is his Uttle house. He says his favorite saying is “you can lead a horse to water but you can’t grow moss on a rock” (Huh?) Whenever Mike has nothing to do he finds himself going for a walk or listening to Tull. Cross Country 1, 2, 3; Track 1, 2 Joanne Kelley Long Point Road, Lakeville “Wliat should a girl do but have fun?” Joanne’s ambition is to travel and be a songwriter. Linda Kubel Tinkham Lane, Lakeville “She’s found the wandering door in peace and easily went through.” Linda’s ambition is to travel around the country. Her favorites are grilled cheese sandwiches. West Island and fall. Happiness is being free to do whatever you want without having anyone around to tell you what you have to do. Gary D. F. Lavine 465 Lakeside Avenue, Lakeville “A man of silence, but of merit” Gary’s favorite saying is “If you want something done right, then you’ve got yo do it yourself, and if it ain’t done right, then you didn’t do it.” He likes wood shop, Maine, Italian food, and hot sunny days at 1:15 p.m. Happiness is “Sheils Sawtelle.”? Thora Lackie 2 Quanapoag Road, East Freetown “Take heed of still waters, they quickly pass away.” Thora’s ambition is to be a teacher for the handicapped. She finds herself daydreaming when there’s nothing to do. Out of doors in the autumn eating hamburgers with the works, are among her likes. Her best advice to underclassmen is “don’t get discouraged, it will be over before you know it.” Future Business Club 3, 4 Mr. John Lee Lafleur 28 Saucier Street, Acushnet “You can’t always get what you want.” “Yash’s” favorite saying is “Hey man, what’s happening?” His ambition is to become a tool and die maker and girls who are stuck-up are his pet peeve.
