Our daily needs are provided for SCHOOL PERSONNEL I Three behind the scenes staffs help to 4 give us a well-run school. The maintenance crew clears the sidewalks of snow, mows the lawns, and keeps the school ship-shape inside and out. Our ofiice workers give out passes, permits, and punishments and handle efficiently all the other necessary paper work. Small town businesses have been re- placed by large corporations and indus- tries. All of us are aftected directly or indirectly. At Appleton High School busi- ness students learn skills in the class- room, and they gain practical experience as student secretaries for the faculty and in the oftices, to prepare them tor this modern industrialized world. The com- mercial program prepares us for the future, whether we are interested in be' coming a private secretary, a salesman, or, eventually, an executive in business.
