In this scientific world MATHEMATICS Little wonder we find our study of mathe- matics stepped up as we consider its necessity in our age of scientific phenomena. Purpose- fully we concentrate efforts on the intricacies of radicals, Iogarithms, slide rules, factoring, permutations, ratio, proportion, and logic. Besides providing us with tools for compu- tation, this course teaches us orderly and logical thinking. We gain a basic foundation required in a variety of careers or a general knowledge for practical use. SCIENCE Biology, physics, and chemistry are the basic science courses at Appleton High School. We delve deeply into the miracles and para- doxes discussed and pondered by men for centuries. The importance of science in this space age compels us to utilize our greatest talents and efforts to contribute creatively to or understand the future in a scientific age. f -u ag 4 -, . ily- gtg..
