LATIN CLUB BURIES RELICS In early spring the Latin Club decided to observe the process of aging. In these pictures, club members and advisor, Mr. Mercier, bury several relics to be re- discovered in later years. Although the conditions weren't exactly the same as they were in ancient Rome, the results should be interesting. Latin Club president, Barb Langman, discusses the more enjoyable sides of Latin at a club meeting. 63

Spanish Club members lived dangerously at their club dinner. Mrs. Rosemond, I club advisor, assures Nancy Moder and Mary Bonner that Mexican sauces donlt eat through the stomach lining. tIl'ellri Mas: takes a well-deserved break before going on to e nex ourse. UN POCO DE ESPANOL This was the scene at the Spanish Club dinner in February at Tippy's Taco House. The wide variety of dishes including tacos, tamales, and tortillas, made it difficult to decide which ones to try iirst. Anne VanderZanden is the club's president. Vicki Pawer and Tom Mills pass through the smor- gasbord line to a new world of Mexican foods.

64 SKI CLUB: THINK SNOW Even ski club uses the method of parliamentary procedure to conduct its business! John Allen, presiding officer, calls for the vote. Over the shoulder of an observing skier, the common scene of apparent chaos comes into view. Many skiers take refuge in the ski chalet while re- generating energy for the next dOthill ride.
