Our thoughts are controlled by the pattern provoking seasons— the crisp of Autumn; the quiet of Winter; the fresh of Spring; the warm of Summer. But overshadowing all of these spans of time for each of us, is the ab- solute realization that there are many who are here now but who will be required to leave in the all too near future. There are those who came with us but who are now gone, and none of us can ever be allowed the luxury of total peace of mind as to the direc- tion of our future. Viet Nam looms large to every man and to every woman as the most discomforting of problems facing us now. Our pride is the knowledge that at ASTC we, as an institution and as individuals, have accepted rationally the necessity to serve . . . it is to this rational mind in general and to those now serving, and those soon to serve that we dedicate the 1967 RHODODEN- DRON.
