irrive at Appalachian as new, frighterre35reshmen and the everflowing tide of the affairs of our school engulfs us. A roommate . . . new people to meet . . . fresh- man orientation . . . our first college classes . . . ball games . . . cheers, laughter, tears . . . date s . . . the big dances . . . short visits home . . . exams . . . and before we really expect it, a year has flown by . • • then two . . . then three, and we are seniors. New experiences . . . new places . . . student teaching . . . and graduation. Where did the time go? With each passing minute, day, and year we looked onward and upward.
