Activities communicate that part of education never found in any classroom. Let us remember the excitement of a united spirit, the challenge of knowledge, the warmth of a smile, and the endless march of Time itself. Let us rem ember what we have learned, and let us learn from what we remember. The Accolade Staff would like to share our enthusiasm with you so that in years to come your memories of happy days at Appalachia High School will linger on. Accolade Staff 2 TOP LEFT: O ' Christmas tree, O ' Christmas tree. FAR TOP: Students enjoy waiting for their bus. TOP RIGHT: Smile, you ' re on Candid Camera. LEFT: Go in there and get ' em. 3 DEDICATION Through sunny days of stormy weather, you have become the part that held us together. All the students of Appalachia High School have at some time caught your friendly smile and felt your warm touch. Not only have you joined with us in activi¬ ties of physical education, but you have survived many nerve- wracking lessons of drivers ' education. The Juniors and Seniors have espe ci ally been blessed with your many talents. Year after year, you have worked to make the prom the best ever, and so often without recognition. So the Accolade staff proudly dedicates the 1974 annual to you . . .
