fACXJUY The Faculty of Appalachia High School is now composed of twenty- six members. Two new members were added to the faculty this year to replace Miss Bobbie Jo Cooper, Mr. James Clark, and Mr. Joseph Flanary; Miss DeShazo and Mr. Mullins. Miss Hurd returned as Mrs. Hunter after a two-years ab¬ sence. Mr. Rose, a former teacher, re¬ placed Mr. C.P. Dorton as Princi¬ pal. ADWNISTRAltON ADMINISTRATION The 1971-72 school year of Ap¬ palachia High School opened with Mr. Dorton and Mr. Rose serving as Principals. After evaluation, Mr. Dorton left to serve as Assis¬ tant Superintendent of Wise County Public Schools. Mr. Rose then took the position as Principal with Coach Jim Riggs as Assistant Prin¬ cipal.
