Elections Student Council elections were held in the last week of April. At an assembly Wednesday morning students were nominated and the qualifications of the nominees were listed. Wednesday and Thursday the candidates spoke to various homerooms, put up posters, and handed out cam- paign ribbons. Friday morning the candidates spoke to the entire student body at an assembly which immediately preceded the voting. Steve Altobelli was elected presi- dent, Butch Vela vice-president, Louis Botto secretary, Fred Westendarp treasurer, and Nick Pantuso program manager.
