The Torch The Torch Staff after toiling many hours clay and night, finally put the annual to bed in the latter part of January. At times this sacred vol- ume has been both a trial and a tribulation, but all have enjoyed the slavery. A Harvest Carnival was sponsored in the fall and proved very successful. The money that was raised was used for the various activities and needed articles around the school. A revised constitution helped to promote the aim of the council — a closer feeling between faculty and students in a more scholarly and friendly atmos- phere. Faculty Sponsor

The Beacon As the school year began in September, The Beacon got underway with almost an entirely new staff of editors. They published monthly the news of the school. The new staff of editors, although relatively inex- Eerienced and perhaps a trifle “scared,” pitched in and egan to publish a newspaper. They made many mistakes and were bawled out more than once by over-critical readers. Congratulations to a fine staff for their excellent work! GRACE S.
