SOPHOMORES As sophs, we returned to school this year after a summer of excitement to continue in high school studies and activities. We re- mained in a daze for the first week or so of classes, but then buckled down and were on the road to distinction. Under the guid- ance of Jeannine Ilowle, president; Carolyn James, vice-president; Margery Hinton, secre- tary; we put our “best foot forward.” By the end of our second high school year, the class of ’55 promises to be a most out- standing class.
