“ITEM: To our dear old school building itself, we leave the peaceful quiet caused by our absence and any apple cores, wads of gun., or crumciled notes vie may have left about. ITEM: To our teachers, the faculty of the Antioch High School, wc hereby give, fre-. from all inheritance, luxury, or income tax, our entire store of knowledge, from them it can.e and to them it should be returned, that others may be benefited by it as we have been. It.E: i .e also give and bequeath to the teachers our very kindest re- gards and our sincere gratitude for their unfailing kindness and aid. ITmL: Io the history of the Antioch High School e bequeath our il- lustrious deeds and our names as candidates for the Hill of Fame. The smaller individual bequests are as follows: Leslie Byrd leaves Billy 3yrct his ability to keep on good terms with the faculty, stay home and not do school work, and still do os he pleases. To William Edgar Byrd,Dicky Hinton wills his excellent memory. Dicky remembers too little, 'Tilliam Edgar too much. io Jettie I ou Hinton we give Christine Chapman's curly hair, and her quiet and friendly disposition. To •■illiam Edgar Byrd we give Christine Chapman's non-speaking abil- ity in class. May he use it to keep quiet. To Evelyn Tolson we bequeath Addie Sherrill's talking ability, may she use it next year in her Literature Glass. Bobby Earl Griggs, gets Dicky Hinton's ability for always being late. Bobby will have to polish it up a bit. Dicky used it so much- it is all tarnished. To Richard Griggs,John Henry Melton wills his ability aS the laziest member of the Senior Class. If it is combined with Richard s laziness, the result will be normal activity. Dicky's love for eating goes to Doris O'noal. Barbara Byrd ’.'ill be happy to know that she is to receive Mary Ethel Johnson s ability to make good marks. All S's for Barbara.
