The long looked-forwardsto senior year started off with Richard Ridley. president: Dave Aguilar. vit-e president: Carleta Henderson. secretary: Gayle Gibbs. treasurer: and representative. Norma Arnold. Beverly Canada took honors as Good Citizen. granted by the county chapter of the Daughters of the .Xmerican Revolution. The Christmas Dance was presented on December I6 with chairman Sunny Trout supervising the decorating of the Christmas tree. silver bedecked entrances and tons of mistletoe from which the semi-formal wonder got its name Mistletoe Magic. Second semester officers were Dave Aguilar. president: Stan Fasel. vice president! Carleta Henderson. secretary: Gayle Gibbs. treasurer: and representative. Norma Arnold. After Christmas vacation the class again resumed activities by starting practice of the Senior Play. The Curse of an Aching Heart. directed by Mr. Ron Trout. assisted by Jeanne Mathews and Bob Cajina. The play was an old-fashioned melodrama and was presented March 15 and 16 in the junior High Gym. Laughs a minute were heard on May 25 when members of the senior class dressed themselves in ridiculous costumes on the traditional Senior Dress-Up Day. On June 6 members of the class stepped out to the Senior Banquet where they re- ceived their annuals. heard the class prophecy. and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Baccalaureate exercises were held on Sunday. .lune l0 and then all too soon came graduation on the eve of June 15. 1956. ending a wonderful high school career for many and an especially marvelous senior year for all. Carribean Cruise. Reigning over the Sophomore Hop as ML and Miss Dreamer at Dreamer's Fan- tasy were sophomores Carleta Henderson and Stan Fasel. Officers for the year '52-53 were Duval Lucio. first semester president: Ray Harring- ton. second semester presidentg Dave Aguilar. vice presidentg LaRue Lucas. secretary for the first semesterg Carleta Henderson. second semesterg Rosalie Batel. treasurerg and ,Ieanette Neveu and Lanny Brown. representatives on student council. The big winter formal, given annually by the school's junior class. was a glittering collection of imitation Northern Lightsf, Junior Prom' king and queen were Bob Miller and Norma Arnold. and their court consisted of Marlene Flaherty. Bill Hall. Ray Har- rington. Jeanette Neveu. Richard Ridley. Carleta Henderson. Boh Franchetto. and Emilie Westbrook. Just before the end of the year. Girls' and Boys' State representatives were chosen. Sunny Trout and Ray Harrington went to the summer conventions. As the last junior project. several of the girls assisted in the seniongraduation .on June 10. 1955 by forming a daisy chain for the graduates. with other junior girls acting as usherettes.
