C 67,55 MOP QC? Time has been moving rapidly and it's now the year 1964. A tour, patterned after that wonderful old movie of 1954 entitled Cinerama , is being offered this summer. We're on our way with hopes of meeting someone we know. With every- thing packed, we'll meet in the lobby of the Palmer Hotel, established by Dwight Palmer. That desk clerk looks familiar, of course, it's Dick Huml. But, before we go, those four elevator operators look familiar. Why, there're none other than Jack Larson, Gilbert Vizensky, George Balek, and Joe Kelly! Well, of all people! It's Tom McGreal, the angora king, and Dick Hedberg, the oil-well tycoon! I wonder if Larry Lass is still teaching bookkeeping at Vassar. We ought to be on our way. The doorman, Eugene La Plante, has already hailed a bus for us. Nancy Quinn! ! I wonder how long she has been driving busses. The bus is taking us to the Schroeder Airport. That Sally surely has a great business, all her sons are pilots! Thanks to that new atomic gasoline, invented by George Halverson, we reach the airport quickly. There's a K 8: K hot dog stand run by John Krammer and Bill Kohl. For those who prefer pizza, there's also Sharon Behren's beanery. We'll get our tickets from Shirley Nelson at the terminal and check with the stewardess, Jean Tegelman, to see if our plane and pilots, Mark Verke and Roger Gilday, are ready. After receiving parachutes from Jenny Patelski, We'll get our takeoff schedule from Donna Martin in the control tower. Finally on our way, we are provided with entertainment by Jerry Healy, newest singing rage of Greenland, and Bruce Mix, popular cartoonist. Not wanting to be out done, up pop Virginia Harness and Marge McCann, stars of the ever-popular Bloomer Girls. Entertainment over, we settle back and watch the great patches of land glide under us. That huge odd-colored one is owned by Larry Hostetler, peanut manu- facturer. We also pass over Mike Hruby's rhinestone mine, but we are more interested in the sight ahead, Niagara Falls. If I remember correctly, Harold Wilson, Fritz Baumann, Victor Lubkeman, Bob Jarnigo, and Joe Pechulis are going on an expedition over these famous falls to find out what is at the bottom. As we fly over the Atlantic Ocean, we admire the new bridge which connects Europe and the United States. This marvelous bridge was designed by Edwyna Chernik and built by John Wells' Water Spanning Company. Our first stop is colorful Spain. After everyone has disembarked, we discover that the airport attendant, Henry Kapell, forgot to push the portable steps up to the plane--- Finally released from the hospital, we decide to take in a bull fight. After seeing Jim Quedenfeld and George Hucker warm up the bulls, we watch a thrilling expedition of skill by Lois Loecher, star matadoress. Before leaving for Venice, our next destination, We are given a farewell party by Joanne Haak, wife of a castanet exporter. In Venice, we take a tour by gondola. Three guesses who the gondoliers are!
