It consists of five representatives of the district, each elected for a three year period. Election is held every year when two representatives are elected, with the exception of every third year, when only one is elected. The president of the board is Mr. Walter K. Hills, whose occupation is farming. He has been a member of the board for eleven years and has been president since 1943. The secretary is Mrs. Helen Osmond, a housewife who has been on the board and has been secretary for seventeen years. The other members are Mr. Fred Scott, a farmer who has served as a member for eight years: Mr. Arthur Bennett, a retired chemist who has been a member for six years: and Dr. D. N. Deering, who is now serving his second year in the group.
