Although their season record of three wins and four losses was not impressive, they totaled 111 points in the league meet beating their nearest competitor, Maumee, by 1.5 points. The Most Improved Player was Mary Dick. Missy Meeker took the Most Valuable honors. A fourth year award went to Ann Yonkee while Cathy Clark, Mary' Dick, and Missy Meeker received third year awards. The Outstanding Participant at the Napolean Gold Medal Relays was Missy Meeker. In the Predistrict meet, Missy took first place in the high jump with a height of -5'6 . This qualified her for the Northwest District meet where she also placed first with a jump of 5'7 . The first State Girls' Track meet was held in Ohio Stadium in Columbus. Missy took first place in the high jump with a jump of 5'4 , This made her eligible to compete in the National meet in New York state. Girls' Track 87
