60 Golf Golf moves io fall The 1974 golf team swung to a 2-8 overall record under the direction of a new coach, Mr. Hayes. Though not a very impressive record, the young team gained valuable expe- rience in inter-school competition. Once again the A.W. golf team had a female participant in Tina Cirino. She was the first girl in the Toledo area ever to com- pete in the Toledo Sectional Golf Champion- ships. League honors went to Kim Rudolph who was chosen First Team All League. Randy Click was voted Most Valuable Golfer of the team and Dave Mattis was the Most Improved Golfer. With only two senior golfers leaving the team, a great improvement in the season record is apparent for next year. 129' F :inset

Cagers He for NLL fiile The 1974-75 Anthony Wayne Basketball team showed the league who was tough by capturing a piece of the NLL title with a remarkable league record of nine wins and one loss. The highlight of league play was the 55-54 win over Rossford, clinching a tie with the rival Bulldogs for the league trophy. This was the first time in over fifteen years that Anthony Wayne has achieved the goal of being league champions. In overall competition, the Generals compiled an 18-3 record with a loss to Toledo Scott by one point in overtime, and to Toledo Macomber in the first round of tournament play. This year's roundball team showed that AW was not only Number One in football, but basketball too. N ,', -v Pi- I, 62 Basketball
