Homecoming game a biHer blow The largest crowd in Northern Lakes League history gathered at Schaller Memorial Stadium, as the Maumee Panthers crushed the Generals' hope for an unbeaten season. Final score: Maumee - 10, AW - 7. The Fighting Generals led most of the game, 7-O, and the fans were high with the anticipation of a much-hoped for victory over arch-rival Maumee. But the Panthers rallied, tied, and finally went ahead of the Generals. The Homecoming Court was introduced before the game, and had sideline seats for the disappointing loss. It was AW's first home loss in four years, and perhaps one of the most frustrating ever. Q PEPSI Rocket Ron and tn captain Albaugh plan neat strategy . Aulumn Memories Whether jiving to the music of the band or watching from the side, all who attended Homecoming Dance '74 seemed to enjoy them- selves. Attendance was good and the North Cafeteria floor was crowded with dancing couples. The evening was highlighted by the crowning of Ann Yonkee and the introduction of her court. In keeping with the theme of Autumn Memories decorations included pumpkins, Indian corn, colorful leaves, and a real tree which stood in the center of the dance floor. Thanks are extended to all stu- dent council members who, through their efforts, made the eve- ning a memorable one for all. 28 Homecoming Dancex
