Dave Plassman receives Cerlifioafe of Merit from Naiional Merif Scholarship Tesi This year like last, Anthony Wayne had another National Merit Scholarship finalist. Dave Plassman received a Certificate of Merit for his scoring on the test. Greg Everharr was the recipient of the Thespian scholarship. Deb Boggs received a 3150 scholarship from the Distributive Edu- cation club. Leslie Bennett was the winner of the .5100 Choir Parents scholarship. The two Band Boosters scholarships for continuing music education were given to trumpeter Greg Bow- man and clarinet-sax player Tom Mammoser. Rich Thayer was the winner of the Swan- ton Elks Club scholarship and a U.S. Savings Bond from the Maumee Elks Club. The Anthony Wayne Business and Professional Women presented Mary Packer and Debbie Baxter with scholarships.
