SC sponsors carnival This year proved to be a busy one for the Student Council. Among other things, they sponsored the Crop Hunger Walk, the senior-faculty basketball game and 50's dance following it, and the student exchanges with Maumee, Napoleon, Perrysburg, and other schools. They were also responsible for the mid-Winter and Homecoming dances. Other SC projects included the planting of shrubbery in the student court- yard, and a special tree in memory of Tom Fox and Bob Wilhelm, two AW sopho- mores who died tragically in 1974. Another aim of student council has been the revamping of the student lunch pro- gram. Through this year's council's efforts, the possibility of lunchroom vending machines is being seriously considered by the powers-that-be, and a grateful student body thanks the council for its efforts in this area. By run- ning errands, taking telephone messages, and collecting attendance cards, they were a great help to Mrs. Morgan and Mrs, Cheski. While many girls volunteered to work only to get out of study hall, once they were x there, they found it rewarding being a part of ROW: Mary Hanncwald, Jody Becker, Lynn Christiansen, Chris Childers, Martha Wheeldon, the action' Albaugh, julie Dress.
