Thespians show mang ialenis The Anthony Wayne Thespian Troupe 1717 is an honorary international organization for those Antonians who have put extra effort into their work with theater, both on and off the stage. This year the Thespians put on the first musical in four years with the play, LITTLE MARY SUNSHINE. It was a delightful suc- cess encouraging the production of more plays in the same genre. This year's initiates carried on the tradition of dressing up as people and objects in the theatrical world. jennifer Baldwin received the Thespian of the Year award for her career point culmina- tion in Thespian activities. Anlonians i'e f il r 'I N stage comedy The Antonian Society of Anthony Wayne presented the Neil Simon comedy, BARE- FOOT IN THE PARK, in the fall. The show was quite successful at both ihe per- formances for the school and the evening showings. The Antonians also assisted Thespian Troupe 1717 in presenting the first musical in four years on the AW stage, LITTLE MARY SUNSHINE. This show was also a success. Honor Socielg sells for funds This year the National Honor Society tried several new activities. Pens and pencils were made available in both offices to students for a nominal charge, and carnations were sold for Valentine's Day and Easter. Students ordered ahead for flowers to be delivered to a sweetheart or special friend. The High School Faculty Selection Committee voted to raise scholastic requirements for candidates to 3.3. Previously it had been 3.0. Nineteen new members were tapped and inducted in April. The first annual spring luncheon was held at Miller's Restaurant for new inductees and graduating seniors. Ms. Elaine Hughes, newscaster for WSPD-TV, was the guest speaker. Two scholarships were announced by Superintendent George Don- nelly at the luncheon. Members voted that .L 4, k i 5Ch0laf5hlPS S0 to Kim' Morris and Kathy BACK ROW: Bin wack, Tom Weber, Janet Bvefhm, Mei Ayers, Becky Piymale. THIRD ROW: Kathy LOWC. To end the year, graduating Seniors Gmitter, jack Polker, Leslie Bennett, Barb Floyd, Kelly Cichy. SECOND ROW: Missy Meeker, Tina Cirino, Val returned after graduation to Plant eve,-greens Zempel, Kim Ehret, Nanci Rinesrine.
