Freshmen Take Victory 4 On October 14,1977, we started our homecoming events. We began with the indoor games, which were held in the auditorium. The biggest attraction was the pizza eating contest which proved what the Freshmen were worthy of. The indoor games were even more exciting. There were the three-legged race, the volkswagon race, the egg toss, along with many other events. The surprise of the day left the Freshmen with 34 points. Seniors with 33, Sophomores 32, and the Junior class with 23 points. (Photo Idents) 1. Mrs. Moser and Mrs. Pelfry are amazed at Johnny’s eating capacity. 2. Lori Cullison dumps the marbles. 3. Sponsors relax as the evening goes by. Lupe Amavisca and Brian Smith relax as they wait for refreshments. Above: Edie and her friend enjoy the evening. Below: Mrs. Finfrock and Mrs. Wright enjoy Santa’s gift. Every year FHA sponsors one of the formal events of the year. On the night of Dec. 3, the cafeteria was transformed into a scenic Christmas setting. This years theme was “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.” Everyone received gifta from Santa and refreshments from Santa’s helpers.
