“Buckeye Dedication1' October 29th was a milestone in Antelope history, a day that was looked forward to by many people. The occasion was the dedication on Antelope's football field. The field was formally dedicated Buckeye Field during half time of the Antelope-Yuma J. V. game. Mr. G Mrs. Charlie Buckeye were honored with a plaque and Mrs. Buckeye was presented with a coursage. The scoreboard had been repainted with the formal title of Buckeye Field inscribed for all to see for years to come. There was a reception afterwards in the cafetorium for all those wishing to attend. HOME VISITOR UARTER DOWN YDS TO GO

The annual Silver Spur Rodeo Parade kicked off at 9:00 Saturday morning. This year Antelope, instead of marching, decided to build a float for the band to ride on. It took two weeks for construction. People stayed up all hours of the night working on it. Many, many thanks go to Mr. Kessler for his hard work and effort and to the many students who also helped. Also a thanks to the people in the community who took the time to make the float successful. Receiving the Sweepstakes trophy Antelope was very happy. 22
