We customarily bid farewell to deserving seniors who will graduate at the end of the year. May I extend this to include all of you at Antelope. The past four years spent here have been very gratifying to me. It has been a source of satisfaction to see the school progress, as indicated by the growth of the individual students. In 1952: As manager and part owner, planted the first citrus orchards on the Yuma Mesa Division starting the present phenomenal development that has created an area of the finest agricultural values in the Desert Southwest. In 1959: Purchased property and started citrus development on the Wellton Mesa.
