During that year they had several events such as a Blue Jean Hop, a swimming party, and a sponge booth at the Carnival. . . . Several of this class were regularly listed on each honor roll, and this year one of them — Diane Roselle — made top honors in school several times, receiving all l’s. . . . The Sophomores have been very industrious with such undertakings as a turkey raffle and Thanksgiving dance, sponsoring Western Week and a Western Dance, and a Variety show.
