Highlights of their activities for this first year in Antelope Union were an early fall dance held in the Mohawk Valley School, a Sweetheart Ball in the spring to announce the FFA sweetheart and her attendants, field trips throughout the year to Tucson, Tempe, The State Fair at Phoenix, and a trip to San Diego for deep sea fishing. Since this first issue every succeeding one has been looked forward to with enthusiasm by both staff and students. The staff has enjoyed the production of Desert Echo and hopes it has created a pattern for the future issues to come.
