i nay INTRODUCTION The mischievous Lavender Leprechauns, in their daring deeds and peculiar brand of dry humor bearing a strange resemblance to the A.H.S. senior, will take you through the '56 yearbook, a collection of your memories of the four years you spent in high school. Here are the friends you knew, the things you said, the games you played, and the fun you had.

MR. JOHN j. F. RUDDY Principal of Antonia High School We, the class of 1956, dedicate this yearbook to you, Mr. Ruddy, because from our first day in senior high school you made us feel a part of A.H.S. We shall always remember your kind understanding of our problems, your friendly smile, and your ceaseless efforts to make us better men and Women. We hope your seven years as principal of the Ansonia High School have been as happy for you as they have been for the students under your guidance, and it is our sincere wish that the school and its pupils will con- tinue under your wise leadership for many years to come. DEDICATION We dedicate this book to you also, Mr. McGee, who have been with us both as instructor and as principal of Pine Manual Training School. For ten years a teacher of science at the Ansonia High School, you have served another ten years as principal of Pine School. You have always been helpful and efficient in aiding the boys in every way possible to start up the ladder of success. A true testimonial of this is the way the alumni return to our school to tell you of their progress. MR. JOSEPH A. MCGEE Principal of Pine Manual Training School
