So that the students of Anson Academy could have a broader education, the Trustees hired Miss Richardson as a part-time instructor of music. The instrumental course features trumpets, cornets, clarinets, saxaphones, trombones, drums and a piano. , F rom the twenty that registered only four had had previous instruction.

It was organized in the fall by our music instructor, Miss Richardson, and has progressed rapidly under her able leadership. This club has proven itself very interesting and worthwhile to its members and we hope it will go on in years to come. '
