The fact that a student is so selected makes it known that all through high school he has made the distinction between that which is important and that which is not. It means that he has attained a scholastic rec- ord of which anyone can be proud. This record represents many hours ot' hard study. and the will to learn. Therefore, those who are chosen for this honor are the best representatives of the class ol' 1954. They greatly merit the distinction which has been bestowed upon them.
