GAA CCUNCIL The Girls' Athletic Association, with the assistance of Miss Donnelly, was able to accomplish a great many things. Selling candy, pop corn, and potato chips at games proved to be a more profitable business than sponsoring a dance. The basketball championship is held by the senior team. Out of town basketball games were enjoyed and helped carry out sportsmanship, one of the purposes of the GAA. The informal initiation was held in April. The president for next year had not been announced at time of publication. The Mixer was held in October with a "Kid Party" as the theme.
