77 , '7-1 ' 5 Higbgir Ari CLASS FISTORY It the beginning of the year of 1953, the Fresh- men class started out with a membership of thirty- three. But, one by one, our number decreased until now we have only twenty-four sturdy members, pushing forth end trying to live up to the motto we set et the beginning of the year, HOnwerd ever, baokwerd never.U is usual, we first elected our class officers. President- ------- D----Thelma Moore Vice-President ---- -Junior Davidson Seoretery--n--- ----- Hazel Cunnagin Treasurer-- ---- Dora Pearl Davidson Dora Pearl dropped out and we didn't reelect anyone to fill her place. We have striven to do what we thought best and under the guiitnoe of Miss Ton, we have suCGGGdGd fairly well. We are reasonable proud of the splay which we staged during commencement week and of plac- ing two men on the besketbrll squad, Junior DHVIGSOU and Richard Langdon. - We only hope that we can pull together as well when we are sophomores as we have done in our Fresh- man year.
