Page 4 Mr. Loren Bonner (Monty) For your unselfish cooperation and your concern for each indi- vidual member of the school, we wish to dedicate this Shield to you. You ha.ve helped us in many ways just by caring about each of us and by being a special friend. We thank you, with all our hearts, for all that you have done. Page 5 3 urn. TO THE CLASS OF ' 67 You have lived all year in a climate of uncertainty. This has been generated by a variety of factors. College admissions difficulties have been foremost in your minds, as some of you have suffered disappointments in your first choices. More significant to a number of this class has been the war in Viet Nam. Your rightful concern for our coun- try policy as well as the more personal concern for friends and relatives have combined to add to your uneasiness. To your credit you have learned to examine these difficulties objectively and take them in stride. A number of you have grown immeasurably as a result of your determination to overcome the problems which have been yours. The uneven road a- long which you have traveled has forced you to find new strengths to add to those al- ready won. I have appreciated the opportunity of assisting you find solutions to class or person- al challenges. As you leave the Seminary, may you know that my concern for your welfare will always be present.
