i 1 SENIORS The red tie class was born in the kinder- garten with Carol, but it did not really live until it entered the Upper School to the tune of its new class song, O Fifty-eight! In its Junior year it stopped growing and devoted its energies to The Song of Bernadette , the sale of Sylvia ' s alligator jaws at Junior Sales, and an Italian Prom. Step songs and first walk-line initiated Senior Year. Then hours were spent uking various and sundries for Carnival, the Nutcracker Suite , headed by Joan Munroe. rhe Christmas Tea and movies for Service League, arranged by Deanna Poulsen, enter- tained the whole school. All winter and spring Fifty-eight watched the mail for college notifi- itions. Then, suddenly, May Day came, and Queen of the May, Sally Spaulding, reigned over her court. The class moved with the year toward graduation; it looked back over its Seminary years, and it knew that although, per- haps, it hadn ' t been the most sophisticated of classes, it had certainly had the most fun.
