They are the victorious of our tourna- ments, and those who have shown outstanding sportsmanship and citizenship, personal integrity and self-discipline. They are to be con- gratulated, and it is hoped that, in the years to come, Seminary girls will continue to follow the fine traditions which these girls have helped to further. KEY GIRLS: Louise Schafer Helen Graham SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD. Merrill Wagner TEAM AWARDS: Gold Team: basketball cup Blue Team: hockey cup MAY DAY This May Day has been a fitring symbol of the colorful and glad- hearted pageantry that marks our goodbyes to this beloved Sem. The days have caught us up and whirled us through a graduation that we ' ll remember always for the intensified fervor of our devotion and love, at the moment of our leaving. Now they ' ve left us high and dry; we are alumnae. Annual Awards Banquet: The Athletic Association gathered for a formal dinner and the presentation of awards to end the day s festivities. This year ' s Queen Erin reigned gracious- n keeping with the spirit of May. The traditional May Pole dance, harking back to popular fiestas of earlier days, was presented according to custom, by the third class. Hail to thee, our Alma Mater, oeminary fair; May achievements crown thy labors Is our earnest prayer. Deep and true as those blue waters Thou art reared above. May the characters thou moldest Hold thee in their love. Pure as yonder snow-clad mountains Where our glances fall, Mav we in the years to follow. Answer to thy call. Chorus . . Hearts turned toward our Alma Mater. May our lives at length Prove thy daughters bear thy motto. On from strength to strength.
