Glee Club Officers: Katherine Hand, Secretary; Dorothy Champagne, Accompanist; Dorothy Brown, Secretary to the Alumnae; Rosemary Waldron, Librarian; Inez Pia, Glee Club Director; Nilinda San Filippo, Sylvan Belle Director; Judith Whalen, Social Chairman and Mary Reynolds, Chairman of Arrangements. The Annhurst College Glee Club, under the able direction of Mr. Frederick Mirlioni, is the largest club on campus. This year Annhurst sang CI joint concert with Assumption to celebrate the Christmas holiday. Other concerts included a joint concert with Boston College and CI weekend trip to New Iersey to sing with Steven's Institute of Technology.

Weeks, SJ. Moderator: Sister Madeleine Gabrielle, f.s.e. The Sodqlity of Our Blessed Lady is not just another club on campus, it is a Way of Life . It is CI religious body which aims at fostering in its members an ardent devotion, reverence and filial love towards Mary. This year, because of its successful annual fund raising project, the Sodolity was able to purchase a sterling silver Communion plate for the chapel. THE HEATHER Officers: Editor-in-Chief: Iacqueline Oliveira Assistant Editor: Elaine Nadeau Feature Editor: Valerie Kulesza Moderator: Sister Helen of the Sacred Heart The Heather , the monthly newspaper of the college, serves as the official median of collegiate life on the Annhurst campus. Besides the daily activities, it publishes: book reviews, feature articles, Chaplain's messages, and social calendars. 69

Its purpose is to coordinate and sponsor activities of both Ct social and educa- tional nature on our campus and those of other nearby colleges. The committee, with the cooperation of the Student Government Association, offers such activities CISI mixers, lectures, concerts, football games, and C1 ski weekend. PUBLIC AFFAIRS CLUB Officers: President: Sandro Martella Vice President: Susctn Wesqctn Secretary: Elaine chdequ Treasurer: Margaret Martin Iunior Delegate: Frances Skelly Vice President of the International Relations Club: Ann Garrity N.F.C.C.S. Delegate: Elaine Urban Moderator: Sister Joseph Bernardine, ESE. The Public Affairs Club offers students an opportunity to become better acquainted with the workings of government on the state and national level. Members of the club participate in the annual meeting of the Connecticut Inter- Ccdlegiate Student Legislature Which holds CI three day session at the state capitol in Hartford. Under the able guidance of Sister Ioseph Bernardine, the Club provides rewarding and interesting experiences for its members. 71
