SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY el- ACT II Seem' 1. Twenty-two silly Sophomores started the I950-51 school year with the hopes of having a successful year. Those who enrolled were: Betty Andrews, Stella Andrews, .lean Ann Decker, Susan De Decker, August De May, Roger De Keyser, Marian Dhamers, .loan Grypp, james Keeley, Dennis Marchand, Clarence Miller, Dale Nowers, Lorraine Oleson, Marvin Price, lfthel Shaw, Carolyn Sommers, Robert Stockton, Sharon Ufheil, Don Vandersnick, Vera Van Hyfte, Arthur XYancket, and Quentin XYolf. Scene II. NYith Hrs. Ramah Peek as our sponsor, officers were chosen to guide the class successfully through the year: President, Carolyn Sommers, Vice President, Marvin Price, Secretary, August De May, Treasurer, Dennis Nlarchand, Student Council Representatix'es, Dennis Marchand, Sharon Uf- heil, and 'loan Grypp. Scene III. The Freshmen were given a thorough initiation. This year the Sophomores enjoyed giving the initiation instead of receiving it. Scene IV. Lost one member: Roger De Keyser, to Nlanlius at the end of the first semester. Seem' V. The big event of the year: The Roller Skating Party at the XVethersfield Roller Dome on February 2, 1951. Scene VI. The final activity of the year was decorating for the Seniors' Baccalaureate and Commencement lixercises which was held in Nlav. Cnrtaivl. Twenty-one silly Sophomores are looking forward to our .lunior vear with all its activities.
