Elder First Division Officer DECK DEP RT FIRST DIVISION The First Division is responsible for the Anchor Windlass and its associated deck tackle. The evolutions of towing, mooring to a buoy, anchoring and other fore- castle duties are conducted in an outstanding manner. All Deck Dept. storerooms are maintained by first division personnel along with the antenna deck and catwalk structures. The first division also utilizes per- sonnel in manning gun mounts, underway watches and in-port deck duties. i i
