All our wriTTen work was creaTive. On Halloween Lorna broughT some cornsTalks which aTTracTed anTs. Then we had To ask The laniTor To rid us CT These pesTs. We had a parTv and played games. Some girls wore cosTumes. On Ve-Terans' Day we wroTe poems. A Tew oT our poems were prinTed in an issue of Quips and Cranks. We were proud! AT ChrisTmas Time we made bookleTs oT green paper wiTh sparkling ChrisTmas Trees on The covers. Inside we puT an acrosTic, a poem, and vocabulary words. We also had a parTy wiTh loTs oT Tood. Every- body parTicipaTed. The whole school gave a ChrisTmas pageanT which was work buT The kind we enjoy. Our regular assignmenTs are ariThmeTic, spelling, reading, hisTory, geog- raphy, penmanship, and language. Three Times a week we have French. For gym we swim when iT is warm, buT in The winTer we play volleyball, Tolk dancing, or games.
