Girls Show Choir Expands One© again this year the choir participated in both large and small group state contests The choir received an excellent rating at the Large Group Contest this year The choir also attended the conference vocal festival at Bridgewater-FontaneHe. A new group, girls show choir, was started this year to give more girls a chance to participate in a swing choir type of group Gina Lund was awarded the National Choral Award which Is given to a senior annually Pic. 1. Art Students Many Anita students were honored in this year's state competitions. Clark Wilson had a paper marbling painting displayed In Des Moines during March. In May four students — Scott Larsen. Tammy Gibson. Scott Barker, and Mike Christensen — had works chosen for a state-wide traveling art exhibit.
