Tracey Suplee received a superior for her french horn solo and also teamed up with Steve McAfee in a french horn duet to receive a superior rating. Teresa Phillips received the other superior rating with her alto saxophone A group that adds a lot of color to the Friday n»ght halftime shows at AHS is the Flag Corps. Jazz Band And Marching Band 26 Band Jazz and marching band members were very active this year The jazz band competed at the state contest and the Midlands Jazz Festival in Fremont. Nebraska The marching band performed at home football games, marched m the Wiota par ode. and competed in the Southwest Iowa Band Jamboree at Clarinda Again this year Theresa Willet was the drum majorette for the marching band Pic. 1.
