This was voted to be the most popular scene among cast members. Pic. 4. Jud and Curly battle it out in the Death Scene where Jud falls on his own knife. Pic. 5. Laura Olsen directed this year's musical, a performance of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! . 600 plus people saw it on November 4th. 5th. and 6th. there was a spaghetti supper on the 5th and 6th. Leesa Westphal landed one of the leading parts playing Laurey Williams, a hard-to-get country girl. Tracey Watson played Curley McClain, her on-and-off boyfriend. Aunt Eller, portrayed by Jody Harris, was the rowdy guardian of Laurey. Jack Barber and Jyl Turner played two scatterbrained lovers (Will Parker and Ado Annie Carnes) who were forever misunderstanding each other. Jud Fry. the scruffy hired hand who was in love with Laurey. was played by Terry Scarf. Mitch Cullen acted out the character of the sly traveling salesman who was always after a young girl’s heart. Teresa Phillips played the flirty Gertie Cummings who finally got Ali Hakim. Curley's friends were Ike and Cord played by Doug Steele and Scott Lund. Dean Barber played Ado Annie’s protective father. Pa Carnes. The dancing girls included Bobbi Jo Barber. Rhonda Bartelson. Janet Nelsen. Erin Pettinger. Ann Turner and Theresa Willet. Pic I. Jody takes bids as Tracey is determined to outdo Terry in the bidding for Laurey's basket at the Box Social. Other characters have mixed reactions: Jack Barber. Jyl Turner. Mitch Cullen. Dean Barber.
